“Unruly Natures” is an ongoing transdisciplinary collaborative research project on “Earth-Beings” initiated by Federico Luisetti and Flurina Gradin. The aim is to encounter socio-natural subjectivities, promote cross-disciplinary conversations, unsettle categories, and envision ecopolitical initiatives not aligned with neoliberal ecologies.

The project involves a growing network of scholars from different disciplines such as Political Geography, Environmental Humanities, Natural Sciences and the Arts and is organised around four main sets of activities, which will be launched from 2020 onwards:

1. Collective on-site workshops
2. Lecture series and conferencing
3. Extended transdisciplinary working groups
4. Public outreach and discourse

Research findings will subsequently be recorded and made available within this growing online resource. It forms the basis for a transdisciplinary network and exchange, further sub-projects, and public awareness and mobilisation around earth-beings. Stay up to date︎︎︎
